Solid construction and precision-fit joinery allow for absolute stability without the need for metal fasteners (nails or screws). Finished in hand-rubbed oil (a durable, non-pigmented, non-toxic, sustainable, 0% VOC wipe-on finish containing no solvents) and an acid-free wax developed by the British Museum.
